If you are looking at high wall frames or big horizontal spans for a ceiling or skillion roof, then you should consider our 140mm profile. Tthe strength of the 140mm profile lets us build light commercial up to 4 stories and walls 7m high. Even if a wall can be made with back to back 90mm studs at 600mm centres for example, it can often be more cost effective to make the wall out of 140mm with single studs at 600mm centres. Bottom line is that when spans get to hard for a 90mm frame or it just isn’t cost effective then the 140mm profile might be the solution you are after.

If you are looking at maximising your wall insulation, there is 140mm wall insulatation available with an rating of R4.0 which will help reduce your heating costs.

Our wall frames can be supplied assembled ready to install or flat packed which is more suitable for remote locations, or for people who would like to assemble their own walls. Our flat packed frames are easily put together on site with minimal tools and come with plans and the rivets needed for assembly. Each wall is bundled separatley and all the componants are clearly marked for easy assembly.

Our automated rollforming equipment can roll steel from 0.75mm to 0.95mm in high tensile G550 grade galvanised steel and 1.15mm in medium tensile G300 grade galvanised steel. The standard galvanised coating of Z275 comes with a 50 year durability statement from New Zealand Steel and for more harsh environments we can offer a heavier coating of Z450.

Where longer spans are required, instead of decreasing the stud or rafter spacing’s, as you would traditionally need to do with timber, we can use a heavier gauge steel while maintaining the same spacing’s. By doing this we can be more cost competitive which keeps building projects on budget.

Incorporating the latest state-of-the-art technology the accuracy of the extruded steel construction components is achievable down to 0.5mm, which allows all components to be easily assembled and makes the assembled frames dimensionally very accurate.
